Gina Carano’s not in it for the money. She fights for love of the game. On the surface that sounds very admirable. But when you look at the bottom line, you can see that she’s getting jobbed by her employers.

Gina is a huge part of EliteXC’s promotion. Her drawing power rivals Kimbo’s but her paycheck is a fraction of his. Totally not fair, but Gina’s not complaining. “My job is to fight,” she says simply.

Oh, and one funny thing. As she’s talking you can hear the National Anthem in the background. Which just goes to show that whether it’s the Star Spangled Banner or a nude weigh in, when Gina Carano is around men stand at attention.
