Marius "The Whitemare" Zaromskis has penned a multi-fight deal with Strikeforce. The Lithuanian mixed martial artist is best known for using his evil left high kick to cut a menacing swath through DREAM's welterweight Gran Prix, defeating Hayato "Mach" Sakurai and Jason High to attain the Japanese promotion's 170 pound title.
Zaromskis is a Cage Rage veteran with a 13-3 record who has consistently produced highlight-reel performances on the big stage. Besides a loss in his second professional fight, Zaromskis' only other flaws are to England's dangerous and undiscovered Che Mills.
Since Strikeforce announced their official partnership with M-1 Global and DREAM, the American-based company has reeled in a steady string of talent from DREAM, including Jason "Mayhem" Miller, Ronaldo "Jacare" Souza, and now Zaromskis.
The game striker will offer appealing match-ups with current Strikeforce welterweights such as Nick Diaz, Jay Hieron, and Joe Riggs. No official opponent or date of participation has been announced as of yet, but Strikeforce's September 19th show in San Jose is being speculated as his debut.
