There are many different versions of Vitor Belfort, but the best one is the "old" Vitor. This is the Vitor with blinding hand speed and great power, the Vitor that leveled guys like Tank Abbott, Wanderlei Silva and now Matt Lindland. The other Vitors, well, not so much.
At 185 pounds, I think Vitor will stay "old" for awhile. He looked incredibly fast and powerful and this is clearly the right weight for him. After his destruction of Lindland, there was immediate talk of him fighting Fedor, but I think that's a bit unrealistic. The middleweight division has some very interesting fights for Vitor and I'm looking forward to seeing more of Belfort at 185.
And of course, people are already talking about an Anderson Silva showdown, but I don't think we'll be seeing that this year. Here's a video of the brutal KO of Matt Lindland.
