New Jersey Martial Arts Hall of Fame to Honor Dan Miragliotta

The New Jersey Martial Arts Hall of Fame is extremely proud of its inaugural class of inductees to the New Jersey Martial Arts Hall of Fame. This class will be honored at the induction dinner gala to be held at the beautiful Crowne Plaza Meadowlands on December 7, 2012.

On December 7th, Dan Miragliotta will be inducted as the MMA Referee of the Year.

Dan and his family reside in Atlantic Highlands, New Jersey.

Dan has been a referee for the New Jersey State Athletic Control Board since in 1997.

Miragliotta has served as referee for promotions such as the UFC, Strikeforce, M-1, Bellator, Elite XC, IFL, Ring of Combat and Cage Fury.

He has refereed MMA bouts throughout the United States and also in Abu Dhabi, England, Ireland, Italy, Germany and Panama.

Dan is a black belt in Shito Ryu Karate and Kenpo Karate and a blue belt in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. He owned and operated a martial arts acadamy, BAMA, in New Jersey for nineteen years.
