It was another fantastic night of fights from the folks at Cage Fury Fighting Championships.  Robert Haydak, Joe Stant Jr., and Arias Garcia Jr. put together another stellar show Saturday night at Resorts Hotel and Casino in Atlantic City, NJ.  This show broke away from the traditional Friday night slot and it proved to be a wise decision as the venue was packed from top to bottom with MMA fans that were hungry for the top notch action they have grown accustomed to at a CFFC event.  CFFC 10: Black Eye did not disappoint.

CFFC 10: Black Eye took place last night in Atlantic City, NJ.  Shawn Baran was on hand to cover the event and he'll have his patented Baran's Breakdown of the event in the very near future.  Here are the quick results from last nights fights:

History was made at the Collins Arena last light in Lincroft, New Jersey, as the first ever professional rules Muay Thai bouts were held in the state.  The fighters all lived up to the history occasion by leaving it all in the ring.  In the main event, Liam "The Hitman" Harrison wowed everyone in attendance with his amazing performance over a very tough and game Justin Greskiewicz. .  Harrison's leg kicks were ferocious and the thuds could be heard in the back row, and he mixed in big punches to the head as well.  The bout was stopped at 3 minutes of the second round, earning Harrison, a native of Leeds, England, the vacant WBC International Muay Thai title.

The historic event was promoted by Chris Tran, John Narleski, Greg Ewing and Frankie Perez.  The four men combined forces to put on an amazing night of fights that had the crowd on its fight throughout.  I am honored to have been able to be the ring announcer and be part of history at Warrior's Cup XII.  Congratulations, gentlemen!

We'll have much more on this event in the next couple of days, so stay tuned.  In the meantime, here are the official results:

Warrior's Cup XII makes history tonight in Lincroft, New Jersey, by bringing the first professional Muay Thai bouts to the state, sanctioned by the WBC.  Headlining the card are two Muay Thai champions who will fight to unify their titles.  Liam Harrison, from Leeds, England, holds the WMC and WAKO world titles.  His opponent, Justin Greskiewicz, holds the USKBA world titles.  Their showdown will epic, and will be a very fitting finale to a great card.

In addition to the pro-rules bouts, there will be amatuer Muay Thai fights as well.  Talented strikers, both men and women, will be looking to make a name for themselves at the Warrior's Cup tonight.  Tickets are going fast, but are still available.  Check out the Warrior's Cup website for details on how to watch the action live.

If you can't make it to the arena, you can watch the show on GoFightLive.com.

Here are the official weights for tonight's bouts:

Summer hits a boiling point this Saturday, July 23rd.  It is a full day dedicated to MMA and sports of all kinds.  Kicking off the festivities will be the MMA & Sports Expo.  The expo will be held throughout the Resorts Hotel and Casino as well as the boardwalk and beach.  You will see a strongman contest out on the boardwalk, Kung Fu demonstrations, powerlifting in the ballroom, as well as an arm wrestling competition right in the casino.  Athletes from all over will on hand to put on a tremendous show for you, the fans.  And you can thank James Jefferson for his efforts to put all this together.

Steven Katz, one of the best dressed men in MMA, is promoting Evolution Fighting Championships 7, the Summer Bash, on August 27 in Rahway, New Jersey.   Evolution is a promotion that puts on great amateur MMA bouts in the Northern, NJ area, close to NYC.  If you are a New York fight fan, it doesn't get any better than this.

Ben Syers will be defending his Evolution title at this show.  You may remember Ben from his 4 second knockout at his last Evolution fight, the video of which went viral on the Internet.  I assume Ben is looking for a 2 or 3 second KO this time out, to one up himself.  And he might just get it.

Steven Katz knows how to put on great cards, and you can be sure that this event will be stacked.  We'll have lots more on Evolution Fighting Championships in the coming weeks, so stay tuned!

Big news for combat sports fans: for the first time ever, professional Muay Thai is coming to New Jersey.  Warriors Cup XII, presented by Weapons 9 Promotions, will take place on July 23rd, and will feature some of the best professional and amateur Muay Thai fighters in the world.  The main event, sanctioned by the WBC, features two world champions vying for the WBC world title. Liam Harrison of England takes on Philadelphia's own Justin Greskiewicz in a bout that is sure to have the RJ Collins Arena rocking.

This is a historic event that will usher in a new era of combat sports in New Jersey and on the East Coast.   Promoter Christian Tran is excited to bring professional Muay Thai to the Garden State in order to give the world's best pro fighters a chance to compete in the sport they love.

"Our show," said Tran, "has been, is, and always be about Muay Thai and the fighters and trainers that commit themselves wholeheartedly to this beautiful combat art.  We do not consider ourselves 'promoters' but rather true fans of the sport."

After the jump, you can check out an awesome video of  Liam "The Hit Man" Harrison highlights.

This show will be a sold out quickly, so jump on the opportunity to get tickets right away.  I will be at the Arena hosting the event from inside the ring, and hope to see everyone there.  Come be a part of combat sports history!  See you on July 23rd!

The Asylum Fight League is looking for the best Middleweight fighter on the planet.  To attract the top fighters, promoter Carl Mascarenhas is offering $100,000 dolars cash to find the next MMA superstar.  He's putting together a single elimination tournament which will take place early next year in Atlantic City.  For more information or to register for the event visit AsylumFightLeague.com.

Do you have what it takes to earn $100K?  If you fight at 185 pounds and believe you are the best, this tournament is for you.  More details will be coming in the near future so stay tuned.  These fights are insane!

Team Renegade head coach Anthony Sansonetti is one strong man.  He lifted me off the ground in a Karelin-type moment the other day, and we happened to get it on video.  I've seen him do this to bigger guys than me.  This is an example of some amazing core strength.
