Michael Bisping: Akiyama's Gonna Try and Hug Me to Death

Michael "The Count" Bisping is known for speaking his mind, and he certainly did that with his latest tweet on Twitter. Discovering that his UFC 120 opponent, Yoshihiro Akiyama aka Sexyama, is training at Greg Jackson's camp, Bisping wrote:

great days training finished, akiyamas at jacksons mma, I guess hes gonna try and hug me to death then.

The thrust of the remark, of course, is that Jackson teaches the "lay and pray" style of fighting. It makes sense that a British fighter would not want to see his opponent wrestle, even though the last wrestler he face, Dan Henderson, knocked him cold with a punch.

We'll have to wait and see if Akiyama responds to the tweet, or instead choose to answer Bisping in the Octagon.
