Meet Chris Weidman and Gian Villante on June 4: Long Island

Here's a treat for Long Island MMA fans. Two rising stars in the sport, Chris Weidman of the UFC and Gian Villante of Strikeforce, will be making an appearance together at the GNC in Roosevelt Field Mall in Garden City, Long Island.

Both fighters are very popular Long Island products, who still live and train on the Island. Weidman fights out of the Serra/Longo camp, while Villante fights out of Bellmore Kickboxing. Both men are also former Ring of Combat champions, a promotion that is a staple in Atlantic City staple, but is run by New Yorker Lou Neglia.

Having fighters like Chris and Gian definitely helps the effort to get MMA legalized in the state of NY, so do your part and head on over to Garden City on Saturday and meet these talented and tough individuals.
