Joseph Lozito is a long time MMA fan who used a single-leg takedown to subdue a knife-wielding killer on the NYC Subway.

Joe was able to take time out with us to discuss what happened on the Subway that fateful day where he was almost killed. But, to his advantage and influence from years of watching Mixed Martial Arts, was able to defend himself and apprehend the attacker- who had just finishing a killing spree throughout NYC.

Watch as the 10th Planet Jiu Jitsu phenom walks you through "The Twister" that Chan Sung Jung ensnared Leonard Garcia in during their UFN 24 bout.  "The Korean Zombie" earned Submission of the Night honors for the catch and now holds the distinguished honor of being the first fighter to perform it in the Octagon.

This video is from Eddie Bravo's Youtube Channel.

Jon "Bones" Jones made an appearance on the Jay Leno show last night.  He talked about how he got the nickname Bones and how he caught the thief in Patterson, NJ, hours before the fight.  Kirstie Alley was also a guest and practically molested Bones on the show.  Here's the video.

Ultimate Fight Night 24.  Saturday night.  March 26.  Nogueira vs. Davis.  Dana White video logs.  Day One.  Mr. White does the intro.  His words are emphasized with elaborate hand motions.

We're at UFC 128.  "It's time!"  Bruce Buffer announces the main event.  Orgasmically.  Police officers have the right to search for narcotics when citizens exhibit Buffer's behavior.  I'm just saying.  Concerned doctors and cornermen encircle a battered Shogun in the Octagon.  A somber walk with Team Rua back to the locker room.

TUF 14 tryouts in Jersey.  Dana emphasizes safety when rolling.  No slamming.  $100 for each submission.  How many fucking times do I have to say no slams?  An acid flashback of Genki Sudo in the Westside Submission Tournament.  It's really some dude in a rash-guard three bills richer.  "Read More" and watch it.

Shane Carwin's back surgery was a success and he is now ready once again to step inside the Octagon and throw down.  There has been a lot of speculation as to who he'd fight, but now the question has been answered.  Jon Olav Einemo will face Shane Carwin at UFC 131, headlined by Brock Lesnar vs. Junior Dos Santos.

If you are not familiar with Einemo, he fights out of Golden Glory in the Netherlands and holds a 6-1 MMA record.  He last fought in November, 2006, when he submitted James Thompson with an armbar.  His only loss was came at the hands of Fabricio Werdum in Pride 31, where he lost by unanimous decision.

Einemo is a Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu stylist, and in the following video you will see how confident he and his team are about beating Carwin and becoming an instant title contender.  That's a pretty tall order, considering how hard Carwin hits and how well he wrestles, not to mention 5 years of ring rust for Einemo.  Still, if Einemo can pull off a victory at UFC 131, his name recognition will skyrocket and he'll be in line to fight a top five opponent right away.  Huge gamble, but one worth taking.

Here's the video of Einemo at Golden Glory.
