Frankie Perez is making a splash on the New Jersey MMA scene.  As a pro, he is 2-0 and both his fights ended early in the first round via submission.  Frankie comes from a family that is very involved in MMA.  Along with his Dad, Mom and brothers and sisters, Frankie is part of the Dead Serious team.  They rent cages, provide DJ's for MMA events, have a great clothing line,  and even put on their own shows, the second of which, Dead Serious MMA 2, takes place in Rahway, New Jersey on December 17.

Kris Brown caught up with Frankie after his one minute submission at Lou Neglia's Ring of Combat show last week.  Perez trains with Ricardo Almeida, and Frankie Edgar's boxing coach Mark Henry, among others.  He's definitely an up and comer to keep your eye on.
