Two stalwarts in the UFC 155 division will collide to determine superiority as Boston native Kenny Florian will face caveman Clay Guida at UFC 107 in Memphis on December 12th.
Florian fell short twice in his quest for the LW belt, the first being a gutsy decision loss to then-champion Sean Sherk, and the last coming against "The Prodigy" B.J. Penn at UFC 101, where he folded to a rear-naked choke. "KenFlo" was on a six-fight win streak before encountering Penn, and has vowed to discard his discouragement and rejoin the title race without hesitation.
Clay Guida, one of the few UFC fighters to gain tremendous respect even when losing due to his aggressive and inspiring performances, is also looking to rebound after dropping a decision to LW newcomer Diego Sanchez, who will be facing Penn on the same UFC 107 card as Guida/Florian.
