Kenny Florian Denies Gomi Rumor

Kenny "KenFlo" Florian spoke with MMAJunkie about the circulating rumors that a bout versus he and Takanori Gomi is in the works.  The Boston lightweight calls shenanigans.

"It's funny; I haven't heard anything about that at all.  I don't know how people would know that before the fighters, but I definitely haven't heard anything about that."

Florian goes on to mention that a pay-per-view venue would be much more likely to house a scrap with Gomi, versus the notion being suggested that the fight might happen on an Ultimate Fight Night show on Spike TV.

"I don't make the business decisions, obviously, but it really doesn't make a lot of sense to not have us on pay-per-view.  I think a lot of people would want to see that fight if it was going to happen, and I don't see – if it was going to happen – how it could be on Spike TV."
