KahL-One, MMA premier filmmaker, is back with another short feature that will get you pumped up.  This one is about Filipe Arantes as he prepares for his fight against Yuri Alcantara at UFC 134 in Brazil.  Arantes (13-3) is an exciting fighter who I had the opportunity to ring announce in his UCC 4 fight against Andy Main, a bout which was unfortunately ruled a no-contest due to an illegal strike.  Arantes will be looking to raise his profile with a great performance in his UFC debut.

Check out KahL-One's latest masterpiece after the jump.

KahL-One has done it again!  He's just wrapped up shooting on a feature film about NY MMA, which should open a lot of people's eyes about the absurdity of keeping mixed martial arts illegal and unsanctioned in the state of New York.

This film, produced by Stephen Koepfer and directed by KahL-One (Kahleem Poole-Tejada), has just been selected 2011 Bronx Week Film Festival scheduled for May 16-19, 2011.  This is quite an achievement and it's great that both KahL, and MMA, are starting to get the recognition they deserve.  Bravo!

Here is a trailer for the film, which should whet your whistle.  If you can, head on up to the Bronx in May to check out the full feature.

Held in the Marriott Hotel in Newark Airport, Zuffa and Spike TV organized another tryouts day for the upcoming season of the Ultimate Fighter. This time with the fighters in the Bantamweight (135) and Featherweight (145) classes.

A lot of talent and a few surprises all around for an extraordinary day of Mixed Martial Arts in the East Coast.

It's here!  You've seen the trailer for KahL-One's Strikeforce Gran Prix First Round film.  Now the full length piece is finally here.  KahL put in, as usual, a tremendous amount of work in bringing us this behind the scenes footage of the GP quarterfinals which took place in last month in New Jersey.  He's created yet another masterpiece that will have you riveted.

So without further ado, I present to you the Strikeforce World Grand Prix First Round.

KahL-One is one of MMA's finest videographers, and he's hard at work on another masterpiece for the fans of Mixed Martial Arts.  He was at the Strikeforce Grand Prix in New Jersey and has completed the trailer for his new film documenting the event.  This video will get you pumped up, trust me.  Check it out.

New York MMA is a web docu series dedicated to educating and giving exposure to the schools, gyms and teachers who make up the DNA of martial arts within New York State.

In Episode 2, we bring you two stories. One of a young up and comer and one of a wise veteran.
Angela Hill trains out of Evolution Muay Thai, with gym coaches Brandon Levi and Rene Driefuss. This chronicles her last training day before heading to downtown Wall Street for an amateur Muay Thai bout.

On the other side, we venture back to Ultimate Gym, hosted by Kru Nestor Marte. An old friend comes to visit, giving words of wisdom, his perspective on training students and a glimpse into the politics of Brazil's martial arts culture.
