Two new match-ups have been announced:  for the UFC's first show on the Versus network, the realignment of the Junior Dos Santos vs. Gabriel Gonzaga that fell through for UFC 108, and a middleweight scrap between Patrick Cote and Alan Belcher for UFC 113 in Montreal.

Gonzaga joined the accursed legion of fighters that were forced to pull out of UFC 108 with a nasty staph infection, and after Dos Santos trounced Gilbert Yvel with a wicked left hook in the first round, the pairing is back on the schedule.  This is a solid fight and pits Dos Santos against someone with elite level grappling and submission abilities, which represents an area where the young Team Nogueira knockout artist has not been tested.  The only loss on Dos Santos' resume is an armbar courtesy of up and comer Joaquim "Mamute" Ferreira.

The heavyweight match-up was announced by MMAWeekly.  UFC on Versus is scheduled for March 21 in Colorado, and will be headlined by Jon Jones versus Brandon Vera.

Alan "The Talent" Belcher will square off with fellow middleweight, Canadian Patrick Cote, in a contest that will surely involve some exciting stand-up exchanges.  Both fighters mainly rely on their strong kickboxing abilities as their main avenue to victory, and both have cast iron chins and are extremely difficult to finish.  TopMMA broke the news about this upcoming fight.

UFC 113 is slated for May 1st in Montreal, and will be headlined by the historic rematch between Lyoto Machida and Mauricio "Shogun" Rua.
