Fedor: Home is Where the Humongous Training Facility is

Days after bending into the world’s most important triangle since Pythagoras ruined things for Greek elementary school students, Fedor was back home in Stary Oskol, Russia.  And rather than brushing up on textbook geometry in a classroom, he sorted things out in his cathedralesque training facility.

Igor Karaev, a Red Devil team insider and friend of Fedor, provided a post-homecoming video via YouTube, presumably filmed at the end of June 2010.

So what’s Fedor up to now?  He doesn’t make much of an appearance in the video, but he is seen working an omaplata-to-armbar transition, as well as thudding some punches into his training partner’s back.  Unless he’s preparing for a superfight with a spinally-challenged Tito Ortiz, the punches are probably coincidental.

Ultimately, other than some headspins performed by brother Aleks to traditional Russian music, the video is more about the beautiful Red Devil training facility.
