Jim Miller will have some extra motivation for his upcoming UFC on Versus 5 bout on August 14 against Ben Henderson.  If he gets past Henderson, he'll be next in line for a title shot against the winner of Frankie Edgar vs. Gray Maynard, a fight that was originally scheduled to take place last week, but got pushed out indefinitely due to Edgar and Maynard both being injured.

Dana White told MMA Fighting that Miller was still ahead of Clay Guida in line for the title shot despite Guida beating Pettis on the TUF Finale.  The Edgar vs. Maynard fight could happen as early as this fall, which means that Jim will have to most likely wait until early 2012 to get his shot.  Of course, he has to get by Henderson first, but I think his skills match up well with Bendo's and he will prevail.

Edgar and Maynard are the only two men to beat Miller, whose record stands at 20-2.  He's on a 7 fight UFC win streak and has stopped his last two opponents inside the distance.  A win against Henderson will cement his shot at the belt.  Will it be Edgar or Maynard?  That is the question.
