(Akiem "Big Tank" Leonard vs. "Relentless" Danny Holmes)

Last night's Asylum Fight League event at the Trump Marina was probably the biggest and best one yet.  The arena is huge, but it was still sold out and the crowd was one of the loudest I've ever heard in my ring announcing career.  Two champions were crowned, with Robbie "Flawless" Lawless winning the welterweight strap with a rear naked choke of "Angry" Scott Krampetz, and "Relentless" Danny Holmes winning a majority decision of Akeim "Big Tank" Leonard to take the Jr. heavyweight title.

There were 13 fights in all, and they all lived up to the Asylum tagline of "These fights are insane!"

I was joined at the commentating table by thegarv.com's own Shawn Baran who did a great job on the mic, and was totally in tune with the judges.

Promoter Carl Mascarenhas did a great job in selling out the Trump Marina ballroom, and putting on a magnificent show.  The next Asylum will be outdoors at Blue Claws stadium in Lakewood, NJ on June 18th, where we'll be enjoying the fights and celebrating Carl's birthday.  Tickets for that event are going to be only thirty bucks, so it's a great opportunity to catch some great MMA action live.

If you missed the show last night and didn't catch on GoFightLive, it is going to be rebroadcast there free, so check it by clicking this link:  Asylum Fight League XXXIV replay.
